About Us.
Tim Knight Roofing Ltd is a local family run business set up by Tim Knight.
Tim originally trained with David Roofing, part of the TARMAC GROUP, one of the largest roofing contractors in the country. With his extensive knowledge of flat roofing, Tim embarked on establishing his own roofing company in 1988. From what were small beginnings with just "one man and a van", the company has gone from strength to strength over the last twenty eight years and is now a leading island roofing company.
Tim has gone from working as a single tradesman to running a thriving business which now employs over 15 staff. Made up of experienced and skilled roofing operatives, a fully qualified carpenter and two qualified and experienced lead welders. The valuable team of roofing operatives whom combined have a wealth of experience in the roofing trade, have worked and trained alongside Tim, some for over 20 years.
All operatives are trained both within the company and by outside training groups in all aspects of material application and health and safety.
As the islands only approved installers of Sarnafil Single Ply, we pride ourselves in being able to offer the most modern alternative roofing systems to all of our customers.
Tim has gone from working as a single tradesman to running a thriving business which now employs 13 skilled roofing operatives, one of which is a fully qualified carpenter and another a qualified lead welder. We have a loyal team of roofing operatives whom combined have a wealth of experience in the roofing trade and have worked and trained alongside Tim, some for over 17 years.

As the islands only approved installers of Sarnafil Single Ply, we pride ourselves in being able to offer the most modern alternative roofing systems to all of our customers.
Other accreditation's include being approved contractors for the Isle of Wight Council, NHS Trust, Local Housing Associations and members of the Trading Standards Approved Scheme.
